Notes Historians of Germantown describe, at some length, this yet well-preserved relic of the early days. It is located, upon the remnants of its rock, on Penn Street, formerly Shoemaker's Lane, near Wingohocking Station. The drawing has been made from a photo taken in 1924 by Mr. John C. Trautwine, Jr.
