F. Fuchs, a lithographer who specialized in maps, worked at 17 Minor Street as part of Robert Pearsall Smith's publishing
house. He contributed over twenty illustrations of various houses and properties for at least six maps published by Smith
in 1855 and 1856, including "Map of Greene County, Ohio" (Philadelphia: Anthony D. Byles, 1855) and "Map of New Haven County,
Connecticut" (Philadelphia: H. & C.T. Smith, 1856). In addition, he is credited with six frontispieces in "The Horticulturist
and Journal of Rural Art and Rural Taste" (Philadelphia: Robert Pearsall Smith, 1856).
