John F. Nunns, born ca. 1806 in England, was a sheet music publisher active in Philadelphia and New York in the 1830s and
1840s. He published the lithographic sheet music cover "The Fairmount Quadrilles" while he operated in Philadelphia from 70
South Third Street in 1836.

In 1850 Nunns lived in New York and worked as a piano maker. He was married to Caroline (b. ca. 1807, New York) with whom
he had several children 20 years and younger born in New York.
