Description She is wearing a lace collar and cuffs and a long string of beads, and is holding a book in her lap. He has a big black mustache and is wearing checked trousers and a black jacket. He is holding an unidentified object in his hands.
Notes Cased photographs retrospective conversion project.
Pad: Faded red velvet with a rectangular floral design.
Mat: Ornamented oval.
Case: Case is shaped like a book with gilt edges. Papier-mache with inlaid mother of pearl with a rose and leaf design. Leather spine. Board on inside left cover is decorated with a gold design.
