Description Portrait of Wood, probably about 5 years old, standing in front of a studio backdrop. She is holding a purse on her right arm, and is holding onto a chair with her left hand. A purse and a bonnet rest on the chair beside her. Hand colored pale pink on cheeks.
Notes Cased photographs retrospective conversion project.
Pad: Faded purple velvet. Leaf design in an oval surrounded by scrolls.
Mat: Nonpareil. Photographer's imprint: Collins, 3d & Chestnut.
Case: Thermoplastic. A clover shaped design is in an oval in the center, fancy scrolls and shells form the border. Same design on verso.
