Description
Contains views of the exterior of City Hall building from several angles sometimes including surrounding buildings such as Wanamaker's Department store (1300-1326 Market Street) and the Masonic Temple (1-33 North Broad Street). Depicts City Hall illuminated at night; the interior courtyard; the statue of Stephen Girard; the William Penn statue on top of the tower and people feeding pigeons on the sidewalk near City Hall. Constructed 1871-1901 after designs by John McArthur Jr.
