Description
Contains images of the Continental Hotel built in 1860 after designs by John McArthur, Jr. Includes exterior views looking southeast. Also depicts interior views of tables set up on the roof gardens of the hotel.
Notes
Contains 5 postcards printed in color and 1 printed in black and white.
Continental Hotel was the largest hotel in Philadelphia for many years, with 700 rooms available to guests. Demolished in 1923 to make way for the Benjamin Franklin Hotel.
