View looking northwest showing Boathouse Row on the Schuylkill River immediately north of the Fairmount Water Works. Canoes float in the water in the foreground. Also shows the College Boat Club boathouse built 1874, the University Barge Club boathouse constructed in 1871, Bachelors Barge Club boathouse constructed in 1860, and the Pennsylvania Barge Club and Crescent Boat Club boathouse built 1869-1871.
