Description View showing the display cases and bottle arrangements of the Chemical Department within the Main Building, including signs for "Philadelphia Lead Works," "Robt. A. Hance, fluid extracts" "George S. Coyne," and "John Lucas & Co." Also shows chandeliers, candelabra, and American flags decorating the displays. The Main Exhibition Building was designed by Joseph M. Wilson and Henry Pettit. The fair celebrated the centennial of the United States through an international exhibition of industry, agriculture, and art.
