Exterior view of one of the Victorian style row houses built on the 1800 block of Delancey to accommodate the growing number of the Philadelphia elite moving west in the mid-19th century. The house, designed by an unknown architect, was built in 1853 for Mrs. Alexander H. Scott. An African American man pedestrian walks on the sidewalk in the right and looks at the viewer.
