Centennial Exhibition (1876 : Philadelphia, Pa.)
Depicts a statue of Christopher Columbus standing on a large stone base with his hand resting on a globe. Attributed to sculptor Emanuele Caroni. Commissioned by Italian-Americans for the Centennial Exhibition in 1876. Moved to Marconi Plaza in South Philadelphia in 1982 from its original site in West Fairmount Park.
