Description
Oblique view of residence surrounded by two wooden fences and large trees in leaf. Built circa 1720 for Quaker farmer and miller, Benjamin Ring. Served as the headquarters for George Washington during the Battle of the Brandywine circa September 11, 1777. Reconstructed 1950-51 by George Edwin Brumbaugh.
