Description
View of dwelling at the top of a hill in Fairmount Park, Located on the west side of the Schuylkill River above the Reading Railway Bridge. A steep set of stairs extends from the entrance of the stone farm house to the bottom of the hill in the foreground. The farm house was on the estate of Jacob S. Waln when the Irish poet Tom Moore puportedly stayed here during his visit to Philadelphia in 1804.
