Letter and sequential number are absent on Card No. 53., Mary S. Holmes was most likely the Philadelphia educator with memberships in the Philadelphia Geographical Society and Teachers' Photographic Association. In the 1890s, she taught at Girls High School and Commerical High School for Girls.
