Interior view of restaurant in Green's Hotel., Numbered R-70949 on verso., Thomas H. Green opened a restaurant on the site of the former Edwards residence at 731 Chestnut Street in 1866. The former site of the Edward Shippen house, Philemon Dickenson house and the Union Building (735 Chestnut Street) were incorporated into Green's Hotel in 1883.
