Lithograph showing the one-story cottage located on the west side of the Schuylkill River above the Reading Railway Bridge in Fairmount Park. A man leaves the house as a woman enters the dwelling. Includes a dog on a path in the foreground, a large warped tree in front of the cottage, and horses walking on paths in the distant right background. The cottage was on the estate of Jacob S. Waln where the Irish poet Tom Moore puportedly stayed during his visit to Philadelphia in 1804. Several of the lithographs from this volume were based on sketches he executed in the 1840s.
