Images include views of Frankford Creek, Tohickon Creek, Wissahickon Creek, Tacony Creek, Pleasantville, Crescentville, Germantown, Fairmount Park near the water works, and winter scenery. Also contains photographs of Stenton, Woodlands Cemetery, the Desilverwood Estate (Holmesburg), the Burd family monuments at St. Stephen's Church (Philadelphia), the city garden of Joseph R. Evans (329 Pine Street), Atlantic City, and Richmond, Va. Images include trees, creek banks, rocks, waterfalls, dams, bridges, mills, and farm land. Many also include posed figures, including a man, probably one of Moran's artist brothers Edward or Thomas, painting in a ravine and scenes titled "Student at Work"; "Autumn in the Woods - burning leaves"; and "Sit up Sir" showing a man with a dog.

David Doret and Linda G. Mitchell Collection, 2018., Label on the front reads: Old Tun Tavern, Philadelphia, Where the First Grand □ of F. & A.M. was Held in America. Tun Tavern stood at the intersection of King (later Water) Street and Wilcox (later Tun) Alley. It was the location of the first lodge of Free and Accepted Masons in the colonies as early as 1732. The June 26, 1732 Pennsylvania Gazette contains an announcement of William Allen being chosen Grand Master. The Tavern is also regarded as the location where the United States Marines held their first recruitment drive in 1775. In 1781, Tun Tavern burned down. A reproduction was built on the grounds of the 1926 Sesquicentennial and demolished after the exposition ended.

Collection of graphic materials documenting world's fairs of the latter 19th and early 20th centuries, predominantly the Centennial Exhibition of 1876 (Philadelphia) and Exposition Universelle de 1867 à Paris. Includes stereographs, trade cards, collecting cards, lantern slides, and souvenirs. Graphics also depict the Great Exhibition of 1851; New York Exhibition of the Industry of All Nations (1853-1854); the Exposition Universelle de 1867 a Paris; the Paris Universal Exposition of 1878; the Chicago World's Fair of 1893; the Pan American Exposition of 1901 (Buffalo, N.Y.); the Louisiana Purchase Exposition of 1904 (St. Louis, Mo.); and the Sesqui-Centennial International Exposition of 1926 (Philadelphia). Views show panoramas of the exhibition grounds and exteriors and interiors of exhibition buildings, including displays showing the wares and products of specific companies and countries, particularly porcelain and terra cotta; art, predominantly sculpture; and dioramas representing the social life and customs of different nations (Morocco, Japan, Sweden, and South America).
