It was purchased by John D. Rockefeller in 1874 and became part of the Standard Oil Trust and became Atlantic Refining Company after the Trust was dissolved in 1911. The facility is shown from several angles and altitudes and includes views of the refining equipment and storage drums as well as boats and ships docked on the river.
