Exterior view looking northeast at the Hamilton Mansion, the Woodlands, built 1770-1790 in West Philadelphia. Originally the country seat of Andrew Hamilton. His grandon William Hamilton (1745-1813) renovated and enlarged the house from 1787 until his death in 1813.
