Shows the bustling industrial starch and farina works at the corner of Chestnut and Bridgewater Streets (ie. Chestnut and Thirtieth Streets) looking northeast toward the Schuylkill River. Laborers direct horse-drawn drays and wagons to and from factory buildings and railroad cars.
