Horticultural Hall, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's headquarters on South Broad Street, was constructed after designs by Samuel Sloan in 1867. A fire destroyed this hall in early 1881, and it was rebuilt in 1882 after designs by Addison Hutton.
