Two other boys are posed with their fists clenched in a boxer's stance. One older girl holds a younger child and faces away from the camera. Still other children pose proudly. All the children in this picture live in the 5 houses comprising this court. It is from this and the Southwark districts that the glovemen of the squared circle principally eminate [sic].
