Advertisement showing the two-story factory adorned with signage on the 800 block of North Sixth Street near Spring Garden. A boy pulls a carriage out of one of the two entries to the building (Sixth Street) as patrons inspect a different model of coach being pushed out by a factory worker at the other. A family walks between the coaches and other carriages are visible inside. Around the corner (Brown Street), on the sidewalk, two gentlemen converse and a couple peers into a factory window. Near the rear of the factory, a laborer transports a sack on his back near a strolling couple past a hackney displayed on a one-story addition. In the street, a driver tries to reign in his speeding carriage occupied by a couple that is being chased by a barking dog as a boy works on the wheel of a factory carriage nearby. A pedestrian watches the scene from the corner. Also shows hitching posts lining the sidewalks and a smaller factory with several smokestacks in the right background.
