The bank, operated by Stephen Girard as Girard's Bank from 1812-1831, was chartered by the state in 1832 as the Girard National Bank. Includes adjacent building (114 South Third) tenanted by practical lithographer Theodore Leonhardt and The City Item newspaper office. Signage for Goodyear's Rubber Warehouse adorns the building.
