Voters of the 15th legislative district! "If any man lowers the American flag, shoot him down." John A. Dix. I take this opportunily [sic] of saying, that last fall I was complimented by the voters of the fifteenth legislative district, in the primary election, by receiving near seven hundred votes; but as the district had been represented by a gentleman from Manayunk, and he desiring to continue, many friends were induced to aid his efforts. This year, by every title of right, the Twenty-Second Ward is entitled to it[.] I claim, therefore, that my devotion to the interests of the constituency of the fifteenth district shall be as full as any representative heretofore eleeted [sic]
