Description: Architectural drawing of an exterior view of the two-story quaint residence. Title: Circular and catalogue of the Oakland Female Institute, Norristown, Pa. for the year ending September 26th, 1850
Description: Contains frontispiece titled "Oakland, Female Institute." of an exterior view of the institute printed by "P.S. Duval Steam Lith. Press" and with the artist's credit line "From nature and on stone by W.E. Hitckcock [i.e. Hitchcock]." Students stroll on the lawn.
