Schwarzmann and Horticultural Hall designed by James H. Windrim are partially visible in the background. Money raised at the fair, which celebrated the centennial of the United States through an international exhibition of industry, agriculture, and art, helped to pay for the completion of the statue and pedestal., Title on negative., Photographer's imprint printed on mount and on verso.
