Erected after designs by Joseph M. Huston for the Peace Jubilee, a celebration of the end of the Spanish American War in 1898. Included a military parade that passed through the Court of Honor, along with other festivities that lasted several days in October. Includes the Union League, built 1864-1865 after the designs of John Fraser (140 S.
