His son (only) Thomas then occupied the house where he died, on Tuesday morning, Feby 12th 1856. The house is remarkable from the "pent" roof over the front door - where the second or upper door appears in the picture there was a window similar to that remaining. S.R.F's counting house* no. 27 (old) Dock St. and storehouses were in the rear of this, on Dock Street. The houses northerly in view are to the N.W. cor. of Front and Granite Street.]
