Ownership of the mansion changed several times after its construction ca. 1888-1889 and it became alternately a private summer home, sanitorium and resort. It was demolished in 1954, but the auxilary buildings still exist on what is now the South Mountain YMCA grounds. View [11177] is northwest to southeast with Cushion Peak road in the center of the photograph. View [11180] is southwest to northeast, reaching out over 2.5 miles from the aircraft’s position over Cushion Peak Rd.
