Description: Billhead of the Philadelphia druggist containing an exterior view of the four-story storefront, heavily adorned in signage, at the southeast corner of Market and Fifteenth Streets. Pedestrians walk on the sidewalk and a horse-drawn omnibus passes in the street. Print also contains two frame-shaped pictorial details. One surrounds a list of products, including white lead, window glass, sal soda, calcined plaster, and "pure wines & liquors for medicinal purposes" and the other, the text "E. C. Jones, Vermin Exterminator Has No Equal." Edward C. Jones & Co. was originally established as a firm by Amos Yarnell for whom Jones served as an apprentice 1860-1864. Jones became Yarnell's partner in the later 1860s and succeeded to the head of the firm in 1877. Jones retired by the early 1890s and W.H.
