A pyramid shaped display is visible in the lower floor show window. Also shows heavy street and pedestrian traffic, including a horse-drawn delivery wagon marked "Drugs." One of the prints also contains two "reduced copies of our beautiful large Chromo lithographs Show cards in six colors, handsomely framed in walnut and gilt, given away with the first order of the goods represented." The views show horses, cows, sheep, and pigs gathered in landscape settings near a railroad bridge and farm, and mountains and a lake. Pedestrians walk on the sidewalk and a horse-drawn omnibus passes in the street. Print also contains two frame-shaped pictorial details. One surrounds a list of products, including white lead, window glass, sal soda, calcined plaster, and "pure wines & liquors for medicinal purposes" and the other, the text "E. C. Jones, Vermin Exterminator Has No Equal." Edward C. Jones & Co. was originally established as a firm by Amos Yarnell for whom Jones served as an apprentice 1860-1864. Patrons, visible through the open doorways, stand at counters within the storefront; jars, and decanters line the display windows; and crates and barrels, some marked, line the sidewalk. Additional inventory are visible near the upper floor windows. In front of the store, a clerk, with a receipt in his hand, watches two draymen load their vehicle in the street. One drayman controls the horse as the other loads a crate onto the dray. A line of crates and barrels, some marked with barely legible print, line the sidewalk near the laborer. Also shows partial views of neighboring buildings in front of which a couple and gentleman stroll. Boxes are piled near most of the upper floor windows and a clerk works at a lower one near a side door in which a lady enters across from a tree in full bloom. In the street, a partially loaded horse-drawn dray rests as a laborer retrieves goods for it from the store cellar. Van Meter & Co., Paper Hangings (54); Charles Ellis & Co., Druggists & Importers of English, French & German Drugs (36); and Joseph Fisher, Thermometers (for distilling). North side includes H. A. Dreer’s Seed & Horticultural Warehouse (59); J. G. Falconer, French millinery and J. N.
