Exterior view of the Old Trappe Church, also known as Augustus Lutheran Church, the oldest, continuously used Lutheran Church in the United States. The cornerstone of the building was laid during the pastorship of Henry Melchior Muhlenberg, in 1743, but the church was not completed until 1745.
