A girl sits on the ground in front of the tent while another child peeks through a hole in the side of the tent. The men wear long black jackets and ties while the boys wear white shirts and ties. The boy on the bicycle wears a hat. The girl wears a white dress and straw hat. Quaker architect Hibberd Yarnall built the summer home Cedar Mer around 1875. After his death in 1882, Elliston Perot Morris bought the property. Morris left Cedar Mer to his son Marriott Canby Morris in his will. It was sold in 1951 after his death.
