The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society organized the first flower show in 1829, although the official Philadelphia Flower Show began in 1925 at the Commercial Museum. The show relocated to the 23rd Armory in 1965, to the Philadelphia Civic Center in 1966, and to the Pennsylvania Convention Center in 1996.
