- Glass negative showing a view of a field with a large, bare tree in the center marking the boundary of Cedar Grove, the old Morris family home. A dirt road runs in front of the tree and railroad tracks run behind. Built by Elizabeth Coates Paschall in 1748-1750, Cedar Grove was a summer retreat and home for the Paschall-Morris family into the nineteenth century. The last family owner, Marriott Morris' second cousin once removed, Lydia Thompson Morris, lived in the house from 1869 to 1888.
