Title: 19th Ward Avoid the draft At a meeting of the Bounty Fund Committee of the 19th Ward, the following resolution was adopted: Resolved, that the citizens of the ward pledge themselves not to contribute, directly or indirectly, to any fund to procure exemption for any citizen, in employment and health, who may be drafted and who has not contributed to the ward bounty fund; and they will also guaranty exemption to any man who may be drafted, under the present call, who has contributed twenty dollars to the fund.
