Within a double oval is an open flower surrounded by scrolls. No design on verso., Richard Davis Wood (1799-1869), the girls' father notes in his diary on May 1, 1846, "Took wife and daughters Mary and Caroline to Langenheim's, and had their daguerreotypes taken, succeeding very well."
