Near the adjacent arch to the alleyway to the rear courtyard, a boy carries a box on his shoulder and laborers hoist boxes from a receiving window to a long factory wagon parked on the cobblestone street. A sign reading "Jno Bancroft Jr. Soap and Candle Manufacturer 19 Wood St." adorns the wagon. A barrel and boxes are stored in the courtyard. Boxes and molds are piled in front of upper floor windows.
