Certificate containing an exterior view of the Roman Catholic church, also known as St. Mary's Lady of Consolation Church, and later Our Mother of Consolation Church, built in 1855 at 7-25 East Chestnut Hill Avenue. Church contains the Gothic spire built in 1885. A Victorian-style residence stands adjacent to the church and an iron-work fence bordered by bushes line the properties. A man enters the church building while nearby a lady walks across the path in the sidewalk, which leads to the church yard. In the street, a horse-drawn buggy travels. On the opposite sidewalk, a gentleman on a stroll walks in the direction of two young men, one carrying a basket on his arm. Also shows a street lamp.
