Exterior views of German Hospital building adjoining the Mary J. Drexel Home at Girard and Corinthian Avenues. Founded in 1860 to provide medical care to the German population in the area. Building in images constructed circa 1874. In 1917 name changed to Lankenau Hospital in honor of John Lankenau, one of the hospital's early presidents. The Mary J.
