Description: Advertisement showing the four-story, three-bay storefront tenanted by the hardware store of Richard Bowlby and William Weaver (77, i.e., south side of the 200 block of Market Street). Bowlby & Weaver relocated to this site in 1831 from 101 High Street, where they had operated since 1820. The business was managed under the name Bowlby & Weaver until 1835 when it was renamed to William Weaver & Co.
