On Thursday, October 8th, in the afternoon and evening commencing at 2 and 7 o'clock, P.M. Come men of Pennsylvania, in the spirit of freedom, to support your brave brethren who are in arms ... your government, and for the protection of your property and homes. Come! all who are in favor of the supremacy of law, order and the Constitution, and who wish to avoid the anarchy and despotism which an atrocious rebellion would impose on the freemen of the United States. Harper & Bro., watches (728 Chestnut), and vignettes showing miners at work, and a view of laborers at work in a stone quarry juxtaposed with a view of Native American persons.
