Jacob Fromer purchased the house in 1871, and after enlarging it 1881-1884, the hotel housed up to 300 visitors. It operated until 1965 when, after being obtained by the State of New York, it was intentionally burned in 1967 to make way for Laurel House Campgrounds., Photographer remarks: Very good picture.
