Moral, scientific and amusing! Prof. Harry Lee, A.M would respectfully announce to the citizens of this place that he will give a grand exhibition of laughing gas at [blank] on [blank] 1863 Twelve gentlemen of respectability will inhale the gas, who, while under it harmless influence, will sing, dance, laugh, &c. &c., always convulsing the audience with laughter. Prof. Lee has made the discovery thus by the use of nitrous oxide. Teeth can be extracted without pain! This is the most popular entertainment in the country, and none should fail to witness it. Professor Haller the renowned magician, will assist Prof. Lee at each entertainment. Haller will exhibit some of the most mysterious, miraculous and marvelous feats ever produced by magic, ... Dan Rice, and his performing horse, Ducrow--The Turkish juggler--Martinelli in his pole performance--London Punch--Comic mules, &c., &c., will be exhibited during our stay. Professor H. Brooks! The blind pianist and solo violinist, late of the Ellinger & Newcombe Opera Troupe, will produce some of his best selections on the occasion. Admission, only 25 cents Children, accompanied by their parents, 15 cents. Doors open half-past 6. Commencing half-past 7 o'clock. N.B.--Liberal arrangements made with schools.
