Illustrations depict Asian symbols, including fans, a paddle fan, bamboo, pottery, and cranes (one with a frog caught in its beak) and a witch with a broom in front of a full moon, witches flying on brooms in the distant background, snakes, rodents, an owl, and a castle atop a steep cliff.
