Upon this school's closure in 1861, the Eclectic Medical College of Philadelphia, founded 1860, purchased the building and occupied it from 1863 to ca. 1874. It is unclear when the building was demolished. The Eclectic Medical College of Philadelphia became the Philadelphia University of Medicine and Surgery in 1865 and offered it's final lecture sessions between 1875-76. The Dean of the University, T.B.
