- View showing the Roman Catholic Church built 1866-1870 after the designs of Edwin F. Durang at 2328 E. Lehigh Street. Also shows the other properties of the church surrounding the building. Includes the rectory (built 1894, Durang), the church cemetery, the original church building partially visible behind the new structure, and the St. Ann School (built 1894-1895, Durang) at 2343 East Tucker Street. Street traffic includes a horse-drawn carriage, electric trolley, and man on horseback. Trees landscape the sidewalks and an iron fence lines the church and cemetery. Cemetery contains several headstones. - Advertisements for the late 19th-century Philadelphia lithographic firm, originally established as a blank book manufactory ca. 1874 by bookbinders and brothers John and August Hofstetter. Name of the establishment ornamented with pictorial details, including a landscape view, a book, and artist's brushes. Prints contain a sentimental and comic scene. Sentimental scene shows a peasant girl, accompanied by a dog, walking through the woods and knitting. Comic scene shows a gentleman, near a lake, inspecting his rear covered in paint in front of a bench adorned with the sign "Paint." Also includes the promotion "Color Work a Specialty." - Memory album compiled by Lewis containing written narratives, photographs, watercolors, textiles, drawings, prints and ephemera documenting his childhood and his lineage and family businesses and residences from the late 18th century to mid 19th century. Specific narrative topics include the provenance of the "Pictures" included in the album; "Memorabilia"; the "Marriage of our Ancestor, 1786. Johann Andreas Philipp Ludwig (i.e., J. A. P. Lewis) and Anna Maria Klingemann"; 'In Memoriam: Johann Andreas Philipp Ludwig' "; the "Memorials of the old Houses, Stores &c.," including deed, plot, architectural, and decor information pertaining to Lewis family residences at 121, i.e., 311 North Fifth Street (1791-1797), 60, i.e., 128 North Fourth Street (1797-1805), 82, i.e., 132 North Second Street (1814-1818), 124, i.e., 264 South Third Street (1818-1824), 148, i.e., 264 South Second Street (1824-1840) and rear storehouse on Laurel Street, and Sixteenth and Walnut streets (1840-1858), and the stores at Walnut and Front streets (1829-1856).

- Advertisement souvenir containing illustrated calendar pages and "Memorandum" sheets printed with paragraphs of promotional text about McCormick and his machinery. Illustrations depict seasonal, genre and landscape scenes, including a man fishing (July), a couple canoeing (August), ducks on promenade down a dirt path (September), a waterfall and winter scene near a homestead (October and November), and deers in a snow-covered forest (December). Promotional text describes the superiority of the McCormick mowers based on "Durability. Convenience and Light Draft"; the machines' prevalence, profitability, history, patents, and awards; the ingenuity of McCormick, the plant, and his employees; and the "best farmers" paying higher prices for McCormick mowers because " Others may cut the prices but the McCormick cuts the grain." Also contains a "Map of the Business Portion of Chicago" and views of a horse-drawn McCormick reaper ("The Winner of the Grand Prizes All Around the World") and draft mower no. 4 ("The Most Durable and Lightest Draft Mower on Earth") on the inside front and back covers., Front and back cover illustrated. Front cover depicts a view of a field lined with bundles of harvested wheat. Image overlaid with an inset of a portrait of Cyrus Hall McCormick. Pictorial details of a flower and vinery complete the image. Back cover depicts "Birdsye View of the McCormick Harvesting Machine Co.'s Works. In Capacity the Largest in the World." McCormick and Brothers, was established in Chicago in 1847 by first-successful mechanical reaper inventor Cyrus W. McCormick (1809-1884) and his brother Leander J. McCormick. Brother William Sanderson McCormick joined the firm in 1849. In 1902, the firm was incorporated into the International Harvester Company.
