Above this scene are toiletries, perfumes, and a book of "Happy hour poems" wrapped in a ribbon. "Mirth and beauty" depicts a waist-length portrait of a young girl wearing a large plumed hat. "First mate" shows a sailor in his blue uniform at sea, gripping his straw hat in his right hand, and telescope in his left., George S. Harris opened his lithography business ca. 1847 at 119 North Fourth Street.
