Description: Fashion advertisement containing two panelled scenes of 17 elegantly attired men, women, and children in a parlor setting and an outdoor hunting scene. Upper panel shows a parlor furnished with floral carpet, a fireplace, an ornate chandelier, window blinds, a portrait painting, and high-backed chairs. At the center of the scene a young boy with a hoop entertains two seated women attired in dresses and bonnets. Six men dressed in solid or plaid pants, jackets, vests, cravats, and top hats flank the women and child in the center and converse with one another. Lower panel shows six figures, some standing, some leaning against tree stumps, and a man and a woman mounted on horses in the center of the scene. The male figures, including one boy, are attired in solid or plaid jackets, plaid pants, vests, and top hats. Description: Fashion advertisement containing two panelled scenes of 17 elegantly attired men, women, and children in a parlor and outdoor, hunting setting. Upper panel shows four men, two women and three boys in a furnished parlor. All of the men are attired in long jackets, vests, cravats and patterned pants. Two hold or wear hats, and two hold canes. To the left, two men stand and converse with two women. The seated lady holds a fan and wears an evening dress, with a low, straight neckline. Her hair is styled in ringlets, and a flower rests behind her ear. The other woman adorns outerwear styled with a high-necked, tight-waisted dress, shawl and plumed bonnet. To the right, two men stand with three boys, who all wear flat caps. The boy on the left is dressed in an Eton suit, while the other two younger boys wear longer tunic suits. The parlor is furnished with carpet and ornate furniture, vases and landscape paintings. The bottom panel shows an outdoor, hunting scene centered around a man and woman mounted on horses. Description: Fashion advertisement containing two panels of 27 elegantly attired men, women, and children in a parlor and outdoor setting. Upper panel shows an outdoor setting near a hitching post with eight men, four boys, and a woman. Most of the men wear long coats, top hats, and bow ties. Two men wear hunting outfits accessorized with hunting caps and rifles and one man wears a riding outfit. The boys, three playing with hoops, wear jackets and pants, caps, and hats. One wears long hair. The woman wears a two-piece riding outfit as well as a brimmed hat. Lower panel shows the parlor scene with eight men, four boys, a woman, and a girl. Most of the men, except one in a bed coat and cap, wear suits, with vests and bow ties. A number of them hold top hats. The boys wear suits, jackets and pants, as well as bow ties. The girl wears a Highlands-style dress and jacket and presents a flower to the woman, seated and attired in an evening dress with lace overlay on the bodice, a low neckline, and short sleeves. She also wears a ribbon through her hair. One of the boys and two of the gentlemen hover near her. Furnishings include framed pictures, carpeting, a large bookcase, and a stand draped with a cloth on which the man in bed attire leans. At the center of the panel, two men stand showing their backs as they peer at the countryside from the curtained window. They are flanked by two groups conversing in the parlor. On the left side, a woman attired in a bonnet, long pleated shirtwaist, and white gloves stands in the middle of two men attired in long jackets, vests, and neck ties. The men on the right side wear the same style, while the woman wears a dress with a low cut neckline, gloves, and a small hat. Many of the depicted men have mustaches and or sideburns.
